I’m feeling pretty exhausted but happy movement is getting back to normal! It’s been hard to balance lifting and recovery and work and home reno, but it’s temporary so I just gotta get through this weird phase. I’m just really excited to get settled into our home next month so that I can focus 100% on lifting instead of dimensions, paint colors, etc. 🙄
Only 95kg for these hang cleans, but I can’t be disappointed since I finally feel like I could manage 110kg or so this weekend😂 excited to do some heavy skwats tomorrow💪🏼 ...

Today I was so tired, sore, stressed, and was thinking of a hundred excuses to feel bad for myself.
I decided to just go to the gym and get through my training with no expectations. My first part was work up to a heavy snatch, keeping my volume low and quickly building.
I picked up the bar and it literally felt like a house. My wrist was angry, and I felt so slow. So I just told myself: turn your brain off, add weight and just call it once it starts to get ugly, not thinking I would make it much past 145.

Each rep I started to feel better and surprised myself. This is Not a PR, but a weight I haven’t hit in a HOT minute.
