BALANCE | I get asked sometimes how I manage working, owning a gym, having a small child, fitness, and all the other things life throws at us all.
The truth is sometimes I don’t manage it very well. I get stressed, tired, cranky, but I’ve learned a few small hacks over the last couple years:
1. Stick to your strengths - you can’t do it all and do it all well. Stay in your lane.
2. Prioritize - I’m a list maker. I write down everything that needs done in the order of priority. “Me time” like working out, reading, or doing whatever you enjoy should be high on the list.
3. Learn to say “NO” - I used to be so bad at this. My guilt and people pleaser mindset would get the best of me. But you cannot please everyone. YOU’RE NOT CHOCOLATE. 🍫
4. Exercise - when I go more than a day or two without exercise, I just don’t feel great. Exercise boosts endorphins, your body’s feel-good chemical. When you feel good, you can accomplish more. 🙌🏻 ...
