React vs Vue ⚔️
.
.
It seems like everyone has their own 'hard-coded' opinion regarding frontend JavaScript frameworks, so let's dive into the details and
see what framework is really the better choice.
.
.
🏅Popularity: I personally see popularity as a non-issue when it comes to determining which framework is better. React and Vue are both extremely popular, and crunching the numbers can only tell you so much. For example, one
of StackOverflow's surveys left React as the most-loved framework, with Vue in second place -- only 1.1% away from being first. (They’re both extremely popular, let’s stop agreeing that one is better than the other just because of popularity 😉)
.
.
🥊️Performance: React and Vue both use a virtual DOM. Using a virtual DOM greatly improves performance and prevents re-rendering the entire page. Instead, you can re-render specific components based on logic and user interactions.
.
.
📝Syntax: One of the main differences between React and Vue is the way the view layer is built. React uses JSX, and Vue uses HTML templates. React's JSX (JavaScript Expressions) combines HTML and CSS into JavaScript. This syntax
allows developers to create complex, self-contained UI components with rendering logic included. Vue’s syntax is very similar to HTML.
.
.
👩🏼‍💻Personal opinion: I've been using React and Vue for awhile now, and I personally like using React more than Vue. I love writing React code because of the elegant programming style and patterns. React code is honestly just beautiful. Another reason I prefer React is because of the great community that I've found. Not only does React have a huge community, but it's also backed by Facebook. React also has a rich package ecosystem and extreme widespread usage. .
.
What framework do you prefer? 💬 Let’s debate 👊🏼.

Last post about things I wish I would know when I started programming.
.
Hey guys! How it is going? I was creating youtube video for a whole day today. I will probably upload it tomorrow. Anyway, let's go! Credits as always for Ken Mazaika!
.
1. Programming is about using the right tool for the job. There are so many different open source libraries, tools, and frameworks at your disposal. So you need to grow your developer toolkit and understand which tool makes sense for each problem that they encounter.
.
2. It’s common to give up right before the change is about to happen. Learning to code (especially to the point where you can switch careers) is a lot of work. It takes time and a lot of discipline, but it is possible. Too many people make the mistake of doing almost enough work to get where they want.
.
3. Learning to code isn’t easy. But that’s why it’s worth doing. I recommend trying to code!
.
That was very exciting series. I hope you liked it! Let me know in comments! Have a great Sunday!

First day back and damn, work doesn’t stop just because I go away. Been catching up on so much that I haven’t actually done anything productive today... just reading emails, slacks, and having meetings 🗓

✖How to develop a ‘new habit’ without failing hard?✖ After reading several books like ‘finish what you start’ and ‘the subtle art of not giving a f*ck’,📚 here are 3 steps to make everything in your wish list possible:

1. Always prioritize 3 things everyday, those 3 things that you can’t go to sleep if you haven’t done them. That way you will create the habit for 3 things first and then add more in the list after you become more organized.💡 2. You need to do for 20 days straight that task you want it to become a new habit. No excuses, if you don’t do it one day, then you have to start counting again.🙌🏻 3. Always remember why you started it on the first place and what do you want to achieve with it. ❤

Happy Friday💃.

Fixed up the error before heading out to my appointment. Kind of a dumb mistake but took a while since I am fresh and don't know much about Webpack or Babel yet.but anyways now that that's over time to move on.
.
After finishing the setup, we moved on to calling our API we need to get all the recipes depending on the query we give it. We implemented axios instead of the fetch API which is much simpler and easier to work with than fetch! It also automatically returns json for us so less code we gotta write! Before I left, I was able to get the data from the API And tested with different query's so once I get home, I'll be able to continue on with the course! 🤗
.
Hope you guys are having a productive day so far! 🙏🏽 ・

Extreme focus and intense work ethics dominate.⠀
⠀
Last night I watched the All Blacks dominate Ireland in the rugby. They won 46 - 14. Rugby is the national sport of New Zealand, and kids grow up from the age of 5 playing the game (starting with touch rugby). I myself played up until I was about 12 years old. ⠀
⠀
New Zealand has a population of less than 5 million people. Yet the All Blacks have managed to win the last two rugby world cups. How is this even possible?⠀
⠀
Extreme focus and intense work ethic are how you dominate a sport / industry or whatever you set out for yourself in life. You can be the smartest person in the room, but if you don't have the work ethic or right focus, others will go on to surpass you.⠀
⠀
So we must be careful to ensure we always focus on the right things - modelling the success of others, and that we really put in the work to make our dreams become reality.⠀
⠀
Hope you're all having a great weekend everyone! Do remember that adequate rest is also part of the process.⠀.
