🔹 Sit upright in your bed just before turning out the lights
🔹 Close your eyes and go back to the moment you woke earlier that morning
🔹 Review everything you experienced from the time you woke up all the way to the present moment
🔹 Be sure to observe rather than judging or evaluating your experiences
The whole recapitulation process should only take a minute or two. Try and avoid lingering in any single event of the day.
Reflecting in this way can help calm the mind and provide a nice space for quiet introspection at the end of the day, preparing the body and mind for a restful nights sleep.
