Leave a “YES” if you will listen to my podcast on “What the Joker gets right and wrong about Mental Health”👇I saw the movie on the opening weekend. I went not as a comic book fan (even though I am), or a movie lover (which I am), but I went as a student of mental health. To see how the movie tackles this really important subject. The most powerful message I took away from the movie is our general lack of empathy and consideration towards others who are different from us. How we truly don’t know what battle someone is fighting internally. Even if it is invisible and we can’t see it externally we have to be so conscious and aware that everyone has a story, everyone has a past and everyone is going through something. Why not just be kind to others. Not only does that bring out the best in them, it brings out the best in us. Not because we’re scared they may become dangerous or harmful towards us, but because we don’t want to add to their pain, we don’t want them to be dangerous or harmful towards themselves. I go deep on this podcast about things the movie gets slightly confused too and I share 7 Habits we can adopt to better our mental health. PS You don’t have to have seen the movie to listen to this one. ...
