Redutor industrial é um dispositivo utilizado em praticamente todos os equipamentos industriais, de diversas áreas, como alimentícia, têxtil, química, entre outras. A função desse dispositivo é reduzir a velocidade de rotação de um acionador para que o equipamento possa funcionar adequadamente.

Um redutor de velocidade industrial é basicamente composto de eixos de entrada e saída, rolamentos, engrenagens e carcaça, e sua ativação se dá quando é necessário que o acionador tenha sua rotação adequada.
Quanto menor for a rotação de um motor em relação aos seus eixos, maior será sua velocidade, enquanto a rotação do motor maior que a rotação do eixo aumenta sua força. O redutor de velocidade industrial é essencial no controle dessas rotações.

Simple mechanism for intermittent 90 deg. rotation.Input: horizontal cam shaft.
Output: vertical shaft of two motions (up-down and rotary)
Brown bar angularly positions the vertical shaft.
Unusual thing: 2 (cam and friction drives) in 1. 
Disadvantage: considerable wear when the vertical shaft does not rotate. 
In term of function this mechanism is equivalent to the spatial Geneva drive

I had the chance to help a friend make a milling process more efficient, we started with an existing 31,5 minutes and ended with 22,5 minutes. 9 minutes. We could go further but had no material left. This job is done around 500 times a year, so there will come an other chance to make it even more efficient, who knows 😋
We used tools from @korloy_california and worked on a @haas_automation VF4 programming with @adskfusion360 .
