When we label emotions and thoughts as bad, wrong or “the worst of a person” it prolongs their pain and suffering. They feel shame for being honest, for feeling and thinking differently. They don’t get the help they need or deserve.

These moments are hard and painful, they are confusing and can cause problems in our relationships, but this is a part of our lives that should not be deemed as “the worst” of someone, because is it really? Are you perfect? Or are your imperfections without labels? We are not defined by are lows, but we are certainly not defined by our highs either.
•
It’s okay not to be okay. Stop apologizing for being your version of human. Let go of shame and get the help you deserve.
