If you don’t know Kim, @kimcankickit you’re missing out. She is a warrior goddess kicking cancer to the curb, and not for the first time. She is a miracle, one in a million, and such an inspiration. Her light and positivity are infectious. You can’t know her, and not love her.
While I was at the hospital visiting last night I was surprised by how busy it was. (And I am not unfamiliar with hospitals.) There was a pretty constant flow of nurses, doctors, techs, physical therapists, family and friends. During a lull (which still included at least 5 other people in the room) I asked Treagan @heyurkimshusband if it was always like this. He told me it was. I asked how she was able to get any rest and he said it was near impossible. That someone is always coming in, waking her to do another test, another check up. More medicine. Deliver results from previous tests. Endless reasons.
While she needs all the prayers of healing and miracles, I’d ask to add prayers for rest. That somehow she can rest her body. Give it a break from fighting and allow it to heal. This hospital stay has been long and brutal with one complication after another. And I can only imagine how deeply some good rest would be appreciated.
With a smile on her face, and that infectious energy, she is still fighting. Forever showing us what it means to never give up. Love you Kim. ...
