Happy Earth Day beautiful people 🌏
I’m sure you’ve heard it a million times but every day should be earth day. I believe we should all live in awe of this planet every. Single. Day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I want to share something I wrote a little while ago:
If you take a step back and look around you realise how crazy our society is. I believe our species has forgotten what it means to be a human. We’ve become detached. We are suffering form cultural amnesia. In Nature, eco systems are in balance; everything works in perfect harmony ebbing and flowing in a beautifully synchronised dance. A tree will only grow as high as the nutrients and water allow it to, it respects the other trees around it that are also trying to grow and thrive. It isn’t a race and in time they grow taller and strong, together. 🌲🌲🌲
Nature shows you that if you work together everything balances out, it’s all about give and take. We lived on this planet without destroying ecosystems for hundreds of thousands of years and some still do in little corners of the planet. It’s only recently that we started to become greedy. You can’t keep take take taking and expect harmony and peace. At some point something has to give. Once you stop fighting against nature, you realise how abundant our planet is and how generous and nurturing Mother Nature can be. 🌻
Do whatever it is you believe makes a positive difference in this world & inspire others to seek ways to do the same. 🌝❤️
Nature Always Wins ...
RIP to all of the boats taken down by the hurricanes that hit the Caribbean one n a half years ago... Absolutely heart breaking to see this sight, along with all the other boats that we're either half sunk or flung on land. Their crumpled bodies reflect so many hopes n dreams that went down with them 🌀 #NatureAlwaysWins#elcaribe ...
So my Tornado down in MOAB is up for the people’s choice award. If you saw it and you like it you can vote here, if you don’t like it, you can also vote here. http://moabarttrails.org/peopleschoice/ This piece was built from my camper that was hurled over the fence by a tornado, I built it at the jenkstar ranch during a big windstorm. During construction a big gust blew it over, landing it perfectly on a can of blue spray paint which was sitting on the hood of my truck, spraying blue paint across the front and down the side of my orange 79 ford. Lucky for me, I love blue and orange together, it’s my favorite color combo. The tornado did an excellent job in my opinion. Tornados might be my favorite medium so far. #naturealwayswins#umyourcamper#jenk#tonadopinstripes#tornadotornadotornado#art#foundmaterials ...
What a precious little gem Ghalat in Fārs-province is. From happy and healthy dogs, to the old ruins, the forest and that dreamy cafe we went to - @gilevaa
These are what is left from an old church right by the foot of the forest.
What I want to mention in this post is unfortunately something that breaks my heart.
I have been to more than 70 countries and Iran is one of the countries with the most amount t of trash left in nature that I have seen. And this surprises me since Iran is a country that has such a highly educated population.
What made this place more or a heart break was that there were trash cans and big signs of trash cans all along the path in the forest, and yet people had left trash all over the place and some thought they were clever enough to hide their trash in the hole in a tree.
I truly hope that this will change.
And since I know I have many Iranian followers, here are some tips I hope you will take to heart and also spread along to fellow citizens.
- Bring plastic bags with you when you go out in nature and pick up trash. Never leave nature in a worse condition than when you got there
- If you see someone littering, tell them in a nice way to not do so
- Educate yourself and your friends about the harm littering does to nature and wildlife
- Try to avoid plastic in general. Don’t use single-use plastic cups, cutlery or plates but opt for reusable versions instead💚♻️
Try to inspire others to make good choices instead of blaming them for what they do bad.
What do you think can be done to minimise littering?
(Not just in Iran but the whole world)🚮
i know all the rules, but the rules don’t know me; guaranteed.
driving along copious views like this for hours yesterday came along with welcomed introspective thoughts, moments of re-connecting with the divine, and a peaceful analysis of my path in this lifetime, humanity, poverty, happiness, how unfair life can be, etc.
i am beyond grateful and proud of myself, to have cultivated such freedom after years of striving / searching to live my days like this each day; from wherever i please to. but i always want to remind my friends on here that it’s not easy, it can be lonely, it can be scary—but it’s always worth the push to me.
as always, i hope to share, inspire and educate others yearning for a location independent lifestyle... so stay tuned for many georgian photos to come this month. this is just the beautiful beginning! and i am fortunately already so full to the brim in my soul + heart. ...
