Happy fun fact FriYAY @vawine edition! 🍷
Virginia has nearly 300 wineries, 28 wine trails, 10 winemaking regions and 7 AVAs. We are known for amazing Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, Petit Manseng, and Viognier. Huge CF and PM girl here 🙋🏼♀️ Virginia also makes amazing red blends! However, Chardonnay is the most planted varietal in the state. 🍇 ...
Happy Friday! Calling today #WineryFriday since I’m a little late this week! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Excited to feature another one of my FAVORITE wineries! Gabriele Rausse is very unique in many ways. 🍷 The tasting room is housed in the cozy space behind me, where they typically have the BEST wine-food pairings! All homemade food, and some of my all time favorite wine in this wine region. Make sure to say hello to the sweetest vineyard pup, Trady! 🐶 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Continue to follow along as I feature some of my favorite wineries that inspired my love of #vawine this month on Wednesday’s. I’ve been away most of the week at a work conference so normally I’m on schedule, but better late than never in my mind! 🤷🏻♀️ ...
Friday is finally here and I could use a lineup like this from @abadiaretuertaledomaine !🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 All 16 plots are blended to create the Selección Especial, but their single varietal wines are truly spectacular. The petit verdot was quite the surprise! 😊🍇 ...
The closest I get to a French Château in LA, is a house in Hancock Park haha! But I drink French Wines from a French Château, so that counts... 🍷🍷🍷•
• Here is Le Roc @domaine.leroc Fronton Saignée Rosé. This Rosé is a blend of 65% Negrette, 30% Syrah, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The vibrant deep pink color comes from red currants, raspberries and strawberries! Yummmm what a fruity blend then hits you with a spice note.
Full bodied Rosé that goes well with the Fall Season! Cheers! @winesofswfrance#sipsouthwest#winesofswfrance ...
